Lauren Waite is a recreational therapist in a long-term care home, where she is privileged to hear many stories from the residents she engages with. These experiences inspired Back in My Day: Evelyn's 1920s as a way to give the stories a platform. Emily Bruce hopes that by sharing stories of the past with her children, she will inspire an interest in history. Lauren and Emily were born and raised in London, Ontario.
