Joanna G. Romersa, born and raised in Pasadena, California, has dedicated 62 years to the animation industry. Now residing in Las Vegas, she was among the first women promoted from 'Ink and Paint' at Disney to Producer/Director at Hanna-Barbera. Joanna returned to Disney for the last two decades of her career as a director. Her debut historical novel, Auntie Gertrude, shares true stories of her family from the early 1900s, featuring her adventurous Aunt Gertrude, who had seven husbands, and her mother, a devoted missionary. Joanna's rich experiences inspire her storytelling.
