Overview

""Audiophiles Aren't Dead"" is an epic and colourful journey into one of the most remarkable generational addictions of modern times. For the first time ever, a book covers everything that one should know about the quest for the Holy Grail of Sound. You will witness the rise and fall of the Audiophile Empire, understand the societal changes that modified our listening habits, and you will both marvel and laugh at the peculiar psychology of the audiophile. You will learn how to count in binary (there's a reason for that!), master key concepts of acoustics, and discover what audio, ice hockey and automobiles have in common! We'll talk about amplifiers, loudspeakers and even show you how to set up a turntable to perfection. 117 entertaining pages, 13 cool chapters, 1 great little book.
