He has participated and presented papers in international, national and regional dermatology conferences and organized some of them. His fields of special interest are newer drugs in leprosy and clinical dermatology. Dr Piyush Kumar finished his post-graduation in Dermatology from Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata in 2011 and was judged the best outgoing university medical graduate in Dermatology.
