Aslam Farshori, a prominent poet of Hyderabad, a mushaira Moderator and a famous announcer of All India Radio, was also popular as a writer, journalist, anchor, actor, filmmaker, director and media consultant. He also gained recognition through the unique family program ""Chhoti Choti Baatein"" of All India Radio. This program presented family problems, social ups and downs and socio-political issues in the realm of humor in the Hyderabadi Deccani language. He performed the duties as a renown Moderator in mushairas all over India and abroad with excellence. The diversity of topics in his Naatiya poetry is also a true expression of his feelings, emotions and devotion.
