OverviewSynopsis The lifelong atheist Steve Smart suffered an emotional trauma. One inebriated evening he stumbled out of his rundown cottage into his garden, where his mind was opened up to the possibility that there could be something. His cottage in the small village of Arabella, named after a beautiful English woman rumoured to have been murdered two centuries previously became a meeting place, for as Dale the building contractor put it, a motley crew. From the flowing Tobias Belton to the tortured Beatrix, from the gentle giant Muldoon to the tiny Jerry. After Steve reads a book on Greek Mythology his daughter and niece conspire to send him on a well deserved holiday to the idyllic Greek Island of Kos. He visits the Asklepion where the sleep God Asklepious healed his patients through visions and dreams. As the journey unfolds Steve finds himself at The Huntington Museum of Art, West Virginia in search of Arabella.
