OverviewThe publication is an extension of the interactive exhibition Phenotype / Limited Forms. The exhibition encourages visitors to actively engage with Armin Linkes' work and to select, rearrange, titlelate and express their favorites from hundreds of photographs. The publication analyses the roughly 30,000 image sequences selected by the public. The interest here is the connection between the Photographs, how often these are selected as individual and how the newly arranged sequences are titled. A detailed demonstration of the applied algorithms helps to understand these relationships. The essays by curators and art scholars discuss the topic on a theoretical level and deal with the aspects of participation and emancipation as well as the question of the autonomy of images. 2700 illustrations Full Product DetailsAuthor: Armin Linke , Peter Hanappe , Peter Hanappe , Doreen MendePublisher: Lars Muller Publishers Imprint: Lars Muller Publishers ISBN: 9783037785751ISBN 10: 3037785756 Pages: 364 Publication Date: 30 July 2018 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In Print This item will be ordered in for you from one of our suppliers.
