Some of Not Yet's images are windows into a New York of another era. i-D Magazine Dubbed Not Yet, the tome takes a look back at Marcopoulos four-plus decades of raw, convention-breaking work and documents everything from skateboarding, snowboarding, and hip-hop to celebrities, artistic portraits and stark landscapes alike. HYPEBEAST.COM The joy of Not Yet is that it feels like a map of the artist s mind, taking along journeys into foreign and familiar worlds. Crave Online Not Yet is an expansive collection of his work, over 300 pages full of both iconic and never before published photographs, with the book being organized in an intimate way. Marcopoulos enlists some of his closest friends and family to curate chapters of his book, 'I wanted a point of view on my work to come from someone other than myself I invited friends and peers of mine to select images, curating individuals chapters as if they were making a zine of my work like the ones I ve been doing for decades'. Musee Magazine

. . . Ari has voraciously documented all he encounters on the Rotten Apple's streets, straight up. And though he isn't all that interested in looking back, the artist's forthcoming monograph, Not Yet, does just that. It's an expansive body of images both old and new from his behind-the-scenes snaps of Spike Lee on the set ofDo the Right Thingin 1988, to his cover shot of Jay Z's 2013 albumMagna Carta...Holy Grail. i-D Magazine Dubbed Not Yet, the tome takes a look back at Marcopoulos four-plus decades of raw, convention-breaking work and documents everything from skateboarding, snowboarding, and hip-hop to celebrities, artistic portraits and stark landscapes alike. HYPEBEAST.COM
