"This is an ""environmental friendly"" version of the book. The pictures and words are on the same pages instead of on separate pages. This book is about ""kindness."" It is written for children, but it intends to involve parents and teachers in discussions. Kindness is desperately needed amongst mankind. For the children of this generation, and the next, to grow up in a nicer world, they have to be kind to each other. The Ant Ville demonstrates the small world we live in. It starts out with nature, beauty and happiness. Then it is challenged by ill-minded. In order to fix it, the good guys have stick together and win the bad guys. Once there is ""Kindness,"" respect, responsibility, love and happiness follow. True story: After my two children read this book a few times, they have become even more loving-kind. They hug more and fight less! My daughter is more open-minded and has made more friends at school."

I am originally from Thailand. I came to the United States 21 years ago for graduate school for a degree in Linguistics. I have a bachelor degree in Language Arts from the Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. After getting my master degree I planned to go back home, but I met my future husband at work; and, here we are sixteen years of marriage later. We have 2 beautiful children, a girl who is 11 and a boy who is 8. For over the last ten years, we have moved a few times around the country for my husband's medical school and training. We have made great friends along the way. It has been a fun and memorable experience for our family. Now that my husband has started his career, we are settling down in Plano, Texas. I feel fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom as it allows me to focus on the things I love: my family, cooking, sewing, gardening and crafting. I love cooking so much I have started a cooking blog, A Taste of Thai and More!, to share my recipes. As a kid, drawing class was my favorite. I also won a few drawing contests. I always thought about drawing as a hobby but never pursued it. A couple months ago, I picked up our iPad Pro and started drawing on Procreate, with the Apple pencil. This book, the Ant Ville, came flowing out.
