OverviewAnnexins are a family of eukaryotic proteins that have been implicated in a wide range of cellular processes, many involving membranes and cytoskeletal elements. Some annexins have anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, and/or ion regulating activities and may play roles in membrane trafficking.
