Overview

Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe are (finally) getting married!. After three long years of waiting for Gilbert to finish medical school, the couple has a dream wedding at Green Gables, then set off for their new home at Four Winds Harbor, where Gilbert will take over the practice of his uncle. They will be far from the family and friends they hold so dear, but they will have each other, that's all that really matters. Settling into their darling house of dreams with its bubbling brook, groves of trees, and ethereal view of the sea is even more delightful than Anne anticipated. She finds so much joy in being with Gilbert, visting with Captain Jim, their neighbor and lighthouse keeper, working with the salty Miss Cornelia Bryant, who has extraordinary views on men, and unraveling the mystery of the aloof Leslie Moore. Joy and sadness entertwine as Gilbert and Anne build their new life together in their house of dreams.
