Overview

A biography of Anne Morrow Lindbergh (1906-2001), who married famous aviator Charles Lindbergh and was his copilot on many of their ground-breaking flights in the early 20th century. She was also a writer, who became known for her books about their flying adventures and in later life, Gift from the Sea (1955), in which the author talks about being a writer and how a woman deals with family and career. The Lindberghs faced a media circus in the kidnapping and death of their first child in 1932.
