Author Information

Temple Grandin is one of the world's most accomplished and well-known adults with autism. She has a PhD in animal science from the University of Illinois and is a professor at Colorado State University. She is the author of several books, including the national bestsellers Thinking in Pictures and Animals in Translation. She is a frequent lecturer at autism meetings throughout the country. Her work has been covered in the New York Times, People, National Public Radio, and 20/20. She has also been named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people of the year. The HBO movie based on her life, starring Claire Danes, received seven Emmy Awards. Cathernie Johnson, PhD, is a writer specializing in neuropsychiatry and the brain and is the author of three previous books. She lives in New York. Andrea Gallo is an audiobook narrator whose works include Ungifted by Gordan Korman, The Nosy Neighbor by Fern Michaels, Kings of the Earth by John Clinch, and In Search of Eden by Linda Nichols, among many others.
