Author Information

Manuel Granell Gil gained his medical degree in 1993 and has been a member of the ESA since 2001. He has been a Full Member of the Anesthesiology, Reanimation and Pain Therapy Spanish Society since 1990 and the Representative of Anaesthesia in Thoracic Surgery since 2011. He has also been a Member of the Thoracic Subcommittee of EACTA since 2013. He is an Associate Professor (Anaesthesiology) at University of Valencia, Spain. He is also Anaesthesiology Section Chief of the University General Hospital of Valencia. Mert Sentürk was born in 1966 in Istanbul, Turkey, where he completed his medical degree and anesthesia residencyin Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty, Dep. of Anaesthesiology. He has been several times in Germany with a scholarship from DAAD. He is an active member in  ESA and EACTA; and working in  different international studies. He is now Professor of Anesthesiology at Istanbul Medical Faculty, Istanbul University, Turkey.
