Overview

No Fear Finance is an accessible guide to the essentials of the finance and investment sectors for individuals who may be approaching the subject for the first time, or who are coming to it from a non-finance background. Covering the fundamentals of finance - including an overview of business finance, the basics of accountancy, financial risk and investment vehicles - the book removes much of the fear experienced by many people when confronted with complex financial issues, and enables them to gain a clear understanding of the basic principles of finance, to which more complicated financial models can then be applied. Online supporting resources for this book include downloadable PDFs of supplemental figures.

Reviews

an ideal introduction to the subject of finance for students. Buying a copy for every sixth form student in the country might just go some way to helping future generations leave our economy in less of a state than the current generation of leaders have. This book will also prove to be useful for a range of other people. It makes a good reference guide for finance professionals such as myself and a decent primer for those who work in non-finance industries but might need to get a better grasp of the subject matter for their job.
