Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationLeena Al-Nasser was born in Saudi Arabia and having spent much time in Syria, now lives between Buenos Aires, London and Saudi Arabia. A multimedia artist, writer and storyteller, Al-Nasser’s creations live in the intersection of social science and fiction. Her work is inspired by historical or current events that inform her emotional state and lead her to feel an urgent need to create stories that explores the issue at hand, poses questions and offers a different way of seeing. Al-Nasser received her master’s in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and has undertaken multiple creative projects, from writing and directing a documentary exploring the controversies surrounding the female body in Arab culture to founding a space for artists to create work across a range of disciplines. She is also a public speaker and consultant on projects dealing with the question of how to create cultural transformation through imagination. Haidar Al-Haibie was born in Latakia, Syria and currently lives and works in Latakia. Haidar is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and architect. Haidar's works are imaginative, inspired by nature, music and personal experiences. His illustrations, paintings and drawings are implemented by intuitive direct drawing from memory, without references, adding uniqueness to each individual work. Haidar holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Tishreen University, Latakia. In 2022, he published his first sketchbook collection and had multiple contributions in group workshops alongside his work as a university teaching assistant.
