Overview

This book is a panoramic view of America's social changes from after the great depression to the present. Through the author's personal illustrative experiences, it reveals the provocative and subtle changes that have affected social and personal standards. The author explains how the nation's political and philosophical views are opening Pandora's Box, spreading confusion and eventually chaos throughout the most respected empire to ever exist. America is fast becoming a police state and its only hope is to once again embrace the ideals and principles that its democracy was first cemented to. There are no longer inner restraints that purify the waters at the fountainhead; therefore the only alternative is by outside forces. This book is about the loss of freedom and liberty of the masses through the control by a few sly and scheming individuals in places of influence with their own selfish agendas. What has begun in secret and deceit is now being boldly displayed without any reservations. Their intentions are to destroy the democracy and freedom that America has enjoyed for two centuries plus.

Author Information

The hills of Pennsylvania will always be home to me. I was a home town Huck Fin always looking for a new adventure. By the age of five I already was entertaining myself with the sights and sounds of nature's wonders and learning the ways of the early pioneers. At ten I was a seasoned marksman and my first love was providing the game for the evening meal. By fourteen those hills had become second nature to me and provided much of the carefree character that can still be recognized in me today. When I was wandering through those remote places everything always seemed so pure, fresh, and clean. I always liked to seek out the high places that presented a panoramic view of creation in its majestic splendor. On a clear day with binoculars I could watch the animals lounging in their natural habitat. It would seem there were not enough hours in a day as I would have to leave them and start home. All of creation was as a theater and I had a front row seat. The unfolding and unending drama of the wilds, most never experience in a life time was often breath taking. Everything was so immense and I felt so small and insignificant. Witnessing the mysteries and wonders of nature first hand always stirred an emotional need to return for more. Responsibility to a growing family and numerous other commitments moved me away from that simple lifestyle. Though I have returned a number of times it was never quite the same. This life for me has been a magnificent and gratifying journey. At three-score and ten plus a few, the sun is setting and the evening shadows are lengthening. Beyond the horizon, life's doorway is becoming more visible and I can see eternity beckoning a more grandeur experience. Yet I need only to pause for a moment, somehow hidden away in my memory I can still hear my mother calling me, Come in now son! It's suppertime.
