Overview

ALLEGIANCE TO POWER is a fictional story built upon current events in the United States and the World. The threat of war in Asia and the Middle East looms as the Russian Leader seeks to take advantage of the new President. Meanwhile, powerful supporters to the President see a solution to sagging poll numbers by creating the false impression that Iran is mounting cyberattacks against the United States. Russia is quick to take advantage of these Americans by covertly inserting their agents in the guise of an International Consulting firm (SANDCASTLE). The Russian plan is far more aggressive. They will create the appearance that Iran has declared war upon the US with a combination of computer and terrorist attacks. The plan escalates when Iran feels threatened by the West. They leverage their relationship with North Korea to obtain three 75-kiloton nuclear warheads. As America and Europe are hit by devastating cyberattacks, one man has been pre-positioned by the CIA to operate beyond US oversight. He joins the German Federal Intelligence Service. As a German agent his name is changed to Robbie Stuhler. He leads a team of agents across Europe, South Africa, Russia, and Asia to defeat the Russian organization. Attacks across the US and Europe continue while Iran is given the blame. The progress of each operation is measured in dead, wounded, and the collected intelligence which ultimately leads to the killing and capture of the Russian operatives. Through a Chinese PLA Colonel, Robbie learns about the shipment of three nuclear warheads. He intercepts the shipment as it changes ships in Sri Lanka. He arranges asylum for the North Korean scientist in exchange for his work to sabotage the Iranian missiles. Meanwhile, The US President has ordered naval forces to deploy near Iran. The German Chancellor is meeting with the NATO General Assembly to present the results of their investigation. She discloses evidence that implicates a member of the President's staff in the American plan. Before the presentation is concluded, the World learns that Iran has delivered on their threat to launch of the nuclear-tipped missiles. Read the book to find out what happens next.
