Overview"The chronic fungi disease ""Candida auris"" was described in this book, along with its causes and additional issues. Candida auris erupted as a fungus that was resistant to several antifungal medications and has been linked to nosocomial epidemics with a high capacity for transmission among hospitalized patients. After being isolated from the external ear canal discharge of a patient in Japan, C. auris was initially characterized in 2009. High mortality is a result of poor detection, improper antifungal drug use, and treatment failure. Since then, reports of C. auris from East Asia to North America have increased, with significant mortality and mistaken identity. The main objectives of this book are to describe the outbreaks, pathogenicity, risk factors, resistance, and treatment options of C. auris infections."
