Truly a global citizen, Sam was born in Beijing, raised in Hong Kong and Sydney, and today divides his time between Dubai and Los Angeles. Charles Kennedy is an aviation journalist, contributing features to Airliner World, Aviation News, Airways and Flypast, and is the author or co-author of Jetliners Of The Red Star, The Story Of The MD-11, the Haynes Owners Workshop Manual for the Boeing 707 and a trilogy covering the history of the Flying Tiger Line. Born in Sydney and resident in London, he is also a musician, pilot, and tour guide.
