Reviews

'After the Fall' is a most valuable contribution to our understanding of the theory and practice of the dissident approaches to freedom and emancipation under totalitarian and post-totalitarian conditions. Drawing from an impressive range of first-rate sources, 'After the Fall' is conceptually original and intellectually illuminating. (Vladimir Tismaneanu, Professor of Politics, University of Maryland; Author of 'Reinventing Politics: Eastern Europe from Stalin to Havel')
