Overview

Follow me through endless sleepless nights as women put their trust in me to give them safe passage through one of life's most memorable experiences-having a baby. I will tell you what life is like for an obstetrician. There is more tragedy, self-doubt, and regret than you would think, but also more joy and laughter than you can imagine. See what it is like to introduce a mother to the newest person in the world. Come into the delivery room and watch with me as we see the strongest human bond take hold instantly and unconditionally. Despite the poignancy of this book, you will catch yourself laughing out loud.
