Overview

Adults & The Golden Age. Street Photography is a photographic art book about adulthood and the golden age across Europe. It is part of a trilogy: 1- Childhood. 2- Young Adults and 3- Adults & The Golden Age. It contains unusual photographs of adults engaging on all kinds of activities, street artists, buskers, graffiti portraying adult and senior people, and even mannequins. This book can be understood as a tribute to the golden age as well, in times where being young is almost a commandment and where seniority is considered not to be cool. You will see here some cool mature models by all means. Also, you will find many adults working on the streets in different useful activities. I attach considerable importance to the documentation of the different professional activities at the beginning of this 21st century. Many of these professions will still exist in the coming centuries. The images have an artistic intention. They are not simple snapshots of everyday life but life in unusual context captured and treated digitally with an artistic intention. This collection is also a sociologic document of the beginning of the 21st century. The pictures have been taken in cities like Lisbon, Dublin, Liverpool, Cracow and Lodz in Poland, Paris, London, Berlin, Charleroi and Liege in Belgium, Leipzig and Chemnitz in Germany, Belfast, Strasbourg in France, Kells, Letterkenny, Dundalk and Cork in Ireland, among other places. The name of the city appears under each picture. Whenever it is possible, I provide information about the models. Most of them are totally unknown to me as I approach them on the street. I speak to them and I add some information about who they are without giving names. The images are presented in color and in black and white using different filters. I hope that you will appreciate the effort made and that you will enjoy contemplating them.
