Author Information

"Jaeheon Yun is a puzzle designer based in South Korea. He graduated from Seowon University with a degree in Industrial Design in 2004; then, just before his first child was born in 2011, he bought a scroll saw and began making wooden toys. He now adapts the idea of the classic jigsaw puzzle into cute and stylized animal pieces that interact with each other to create larger animal ""family"" puzzles. Jaeheon often designs his animal puzzle pieces after forms found in Japanese toys. His son, Jimin, often ""tests"" out his puzzles in Jaeheon's two-room workshop, and Jaeheon hopes to teach him the scroll saw someday. Jaeheon's small business, called Namunolie (a combination of two Korean words meaning ""tree"" and ""play""), can be found on Etsy."
