Originally a college graduate of social science and language in 1982, he was granted academic merits in biochemistry and cell biology at the University of Odense (now SDU). Subsequent to more than five years as a resident of different English-language countries, he settled in Denmark. And later, he changed direction from being a long-time science writer to that of a fiction novelist. His previous publication, Den Rette Vej from 2019 (The Straight and Narrow), was similarly a work of science fiction. ADN is his first fictional publication in English.
