Overview

This second book in the Multiphysics Modeling Series will present the reader with a solved problem that utilizes the AC/DC Module. This model is based on AC/DC multiphysics modeling and employs the use of physics first principles for its solution with inductive conductivity measurements using COMSOL[registered] (4.X) and MATLAB[registered]. It presents multiphysics models using the step-by-step techniques with the modeling tree paradigm as found in COMSOL Multiphysics v.4.X software. It uses step-by-step techniques applying the new modeling tree paradigm and couples them to MATLAB through COMSOL LiveLink[trademark] for further analysis. It covers Physics First Principles analysis relevant to the modeling problems that will be correlated with observed behaviors. It includes a companion disc with executable copies of each specific model and figures from the book.
