Overview"A must for traditional and contemporary worship! ""As pastors, we recognize that few worship planners have as much time and creative energy to spend planning their services of worship as we would like. . . . The Abingdon Worship Annual provides pastors and worship planners the liturgical elements to put a complete service of worship together,"" say Mary J. Scifres and B. J. Beu in the 2005 volume of The Abingdon Worship Annual. Although a plethora of resources are readily available for sermon, worship, and music planning, scant few provide assistance for creating coordinated and moving worship for traditional and contemporary worship experiences. Designed with this need in mind, The Abingdon Worship Annual 2005 offers: - weekly lectionary readings for each Sunday - calls to worship - praise sentences and gathering words - pastoral and congregational prayers - benedictions and blessings. The Abingdon Worship Annual 2005 is a must-have sourcebook offering countless opportunities for meaningful and insightful worship.
