For the past twenty-five years, he has been a non-profit executive with social service and arts organizations, including Family Focus, Gilda's Club Chicago, Court Theatre, and the International Theatre Festival of Chicago. Prior to his service in the nonprofit sector, Mr. Majsak worked in advertising and marketing for companies such as Leo Burnett Advertising and Keebler. Mr. Majsak shares his passion for photography on two websites he runs: one for his Studio Steve Photography gallery and another for a blog where he features one of his personal photos along with the story behind the shot and a discussion about the techniques he employs, including the photo-stitching technique featured in many of his photographs. His children's book, ABC Animals!, which features his photographs of animals from his travels, will be published Summer 2022 by Silver Dolphin Books.
