Overview

Italian immigrants Vito and Cassandra Gouch come to Americe in search of the American dream. The first part of their dream is realized with the birth of their daughter Abbi. A very beautiful and talented young girl who is loved by all. Death claims Cassandra leaving her beloved husband and daughter devastated. Disaster strikes as a cocaine-fueled gang of thugs led by Rube Miles leaves Vito nearly crippled and Abbi horribly disfigured by a blade of steel and flames of fire fire. Their tragedy is followed by a rash of dead bodies that has Mendenhall Mississippi's Sherriff James Barnes purplexed. What in the hell is going on in his quiet, little town? Father and daughter are seperated and presume the other is dead! Abbi is left to fend for herself as she battles lonliness, fear, anger and depression. Abbi and her father are reunited and when she experiences joy, her scariing is hidden within a golden aura. Her ability to change her appearance causes her to be shunned by all but her father, and her best friends Stella and Abraham. What will become of the once beautiful, broken, young lady. Although she has a very unique relationship with Jesus Christ, will she be delivered from evil, or will the adversary have his way with her? Her pain takes her to the edge of the abyss. The question is. will Abbi plunge into it's depths, or will she soar like an eagle?
