Overview

Work magick with help from the little people All over the world, people have reported encounters with a race of tiny people who are neither human nor deity. This book reclaims that lost, rich heritage of working with faery folk that our Pagan ancestors took for granted. Edain McCoy teaches how to work with faeries in a mutually beneficial way. Practice rituals and spells in which faeries can participate, and discover tips to help facilitate faery contact. These capricious creatures can help with divination, past life recall, scrying, and spiritual quests. Also included is a dictionary of more than 230 faeries that include goblins, gnomes, elementals, seasonal faeries, and angels.

Author Information

Edain McCoy became a self-initiated Witch in 1981 and was an active part of the Pagan community since her formal initiation into a large San Antonio coven in 1983. Edain had researched alternative spiritualities since her teens, when she was first introduced to Kabbalah. Since that time, she studied a variety of magickal paths, including Celtic, Appalachian folk magick, and Curanderismo, a Mexican-American folk tradition. An alumnus of the University of Texas with a BA in history, she was affiliated with several professional writer's organizations and occasionally presented workshops on magickal topics or worked individually with students who wished to study Witchcraft. Edain authored over fifteen books, including Bewitchments, Enchantments, and Ostara: Customs, Spells & Rituals for the Rites of Spring. Tegan Ashton Cohan is a classically trained actress, physical comedienne, and entrepreneur. A Wellesley College alumna, she's studied with Shakespeare & Company, The National Theatre Institute, and The Meisner Center, among others. She owns and operates Daizy the Clown & Company, bringing to her work a comedic timing honed over decades of professional clowning. She narrates and produces audiobooks as Howl at the Moon Audio. Her voice has been described as deliberate, spirited, and wry . . . a little bubble-up with your shut-up! In other pursuits, she raises money for charity by selling her homemade jams and runs a D&D game and a coven. She loves dogs and books.
