Reviews

I love the Author's voice. His easy-going communication style combined with his effective use of graphics, examples and analogies makes the most complex investing concepts easy-to-read, easy-to-understand and easy-to-implement. I only wish this book had come into my world sooner. Anne G. I have always been timid about investing in stocks until I read this book. It is perfect for those who are already investing and for those who want to start investing. Jim Brent's words are relatable to any age group and all will come away with a new found appreciation of the simple steps that can be taken to start or continue their investing journey. I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking about or already investing in the stock market. You won't regret it! Katie J. Like many people, fear of loss held me back from investing in common stocks. Chapter by chapter, this book helped replace that fear with knowledge, insight and confidence. It's a great book that will not only get you motivated but will also get you investing. Kim G. I love this book! I already had a pretty good knowledge of investing - or so I thought. But I soon realized, my understanding had as many missing pieces as a half-finished jig-saw puzzle. This book helped me identify and fit those missing stock-investing pieces into their proper place thus enabling me to see the bigger picture, both the opportunities as well as the potential pitfalls. Thank you, Mr. Brent, ! Heather K. There's no other way to say it - I LOVE THIS BOOK!! It not only expanded my knowledge and understanding, it also significantly enhanced my confidence and decision making. Kolleen G.
