OverviewA Ride to Panmunjon, first published in 1956, is a fictionalized account of American prisoners-of-war during the Korean conflict. Author Duane Thorin, himself a US Navy helicopter pilot and POW in Korea, drew on his experiences to write this book, in part to to illustrate interrogation and propaganda methods used by the communists, and how captured servicemen could best resist such efforts.
