Once I started reading I had to put aside other activities until all the engaging characters had safely returned to England. JJ Toners knowledge of WW II history and German geography leaves the reader wondering if this is fiction or non-fiction. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes stories set in WWII, and likes a good thriller involving spying, bad guys, and a believable underdog. Another fine story, wished it hadn't ended! A very moving story line full of intrigue, edge of your seat, nail bitter. Page after page it was so exciting, enjoyed every moment, had to give it 5 Stars. Certainly hope there are more of Kurt Muller to come!! This is the third in a series, and I think Kurt escaped a few too many times. Good thing he wasn't a cat, he would have only had 9 lives. Awesome book as all of Toners I have read, can't wait till the next one. Love this author. This the third book in a row I have read. Kept me up late for a couple of nights!!! I finished this book at 3am. I could not put my Kindle down. The story line kept me guessing and wanting more. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed all three parts of the series by this author. If you enjoy WWII spy thriller books then this will not disappoint. Plenty of detail and Character development, and well written - I enjoy this authors writing style.
