This 8 in x 10in Weekly/Daily Planner is custom made for the mom whose son is about to go through Parris Island....Otherwise known as Marine Corps Boot Camp. This experience will be something he will remember for the rest of his life, I promise you that. It has 13 weekly summary pages and, 13 weeks of daily planners. We've included some tid bits of Marine Corps information as well.... Such as the Marines Hymn. (Don't call it the Marine Corps Hymn unless you want to be corrected) While he is there, your life is going to be pulled in a million different directions. Waiting for, and writing letters are going to be a part of your daily routine. You may need a little help to keep your day organized. This Daily Planner is 130 pages long, at 8 x10 inches, this planner/task manager will keep you focused on your day, so you can indeed sit down and write your child a letter to let him know how proud you are of him, and encourage him to keep his head up. (Ask me how I know) He will need this from you while he's there. He may try to act tough and say he didn't, or won't...but he will. He'll appreciate getting his name called at mail call at night, and that starts with mom having her day wired at home! I have taken the first part of this book, and written of our personal experience at Parris Island in the fall of 2018. I have included schedules for Wed, Thursday and Friday, as well as tips and tricks I would have loved to known while our son was on the island. I've also written about items that I wish we would have brought, and what we did wrong that if we had to do it again, we would change. It's a very proud time for you and your soon to be Marine. This planner/notebook is where you will live while he's gone. It also has journal pages in the back of the planner, so you can write down feelings you are experiencing while he's going through the toughest military boot camp in the world. I've included contact numbers for Parris Island, as well as the Red Cross, gift shops on Parris Island, and more.
