She has worked regularly with underserved populations as a nurse practitioner since that time. Judd has been involved in a number of outcome studies associated with direct patient care has presented at many national forums. Additionally, she has been involved in curriculum development and teaching in the areas of professionalism, nursing history, theory, and research. Kathleen Sitzmanearnedher BSN from the University of Utah in 1984.She has practiced in many areas of nursing since then, devoting the most time and energy to home healthcare and hospice nursing.She received a Master’s of Science in nursing in 2001, and since then, has focused on teaching in the nursing program at Weber State University.
