Overview

Someone has fired plasma tipped missiles at the Space Station over Uzume was well as the planet, destroying the area around the Capital. Heather and Sandra jump there to investigate and return in about a minute to report their fears were true. United Affiliation of Planets Prime Minister Kulkami promotes Heather to a bird colonel and puts her in charge of the investigation. Her team jumps directly to Uzume, arriving less than an hour after the attack. The Twelfth Fleet under the command of five star admiral Mendoza arrive moments after Heather. Heather's Forensic Team examine the damage to the Space Station and determine the damage came from plasma tipped missiles from outer space. On the planet Heather finds ten square miles on fire and a Battalion Chief in command and in over his head since everyone else above him is dead. Heather gets mutual aid from other fire departments on and off the planet to fight the fires. They learn that fifteen space fighters with jump drive capacity are missing and feared sold to the terrorist. Also, over 100 plasma tipped missiles were sold to the terrorists. The more Heather and her team investigate the more convince that the attack came for the planet Tswevane, a member of the UAP and their plan is to send the remaining missiles from a Naval cruiser raining down on New York City, the Capital of the UAP as well as the banking and business capital. Now all Heather has to do is convince the Minister of Defense, and Admiral Mendoza that she is right and that the Twelfth Fleet must jump into the orbit of the Space Station over New York City before it is too late. If you like science fiction, military and police action you will like A Guide to an Uncivil War. It blends all those elements into an action packed and suspenseful novel. Enjoy!!!
