A Fatal Club

Overview

When a resident of the quiet Arizona retirement community of Sunrise Acres is bludgeoned to death on the golf course, amateur sleuths Molly Levin and Mike Landry step in to investigate, using their local knowledge to aid Detective Jose Villegas in solving the murder. Motives for the crime abound: the victim's immigrant activism triggered hate-filled emails and threats. His involvement with a startup's revolutionary technology has attracted international intrigue. His handsome brother and likely heir is an obvious suspect, but Molly's friendship with him antagonizes both Mike and the police. As Molly and Mike uncover secrets and pursue clues, their unorthodox methods may identify the murderer, but also put them in danger.

Author Information

Andre Charles is the pseudonym for Dorothy Leonard and Walter Swap. In addition to the first two books in the Molly & Mike mystery series (The Bell Tower and Overkill), the couple has co-authored several non-fiction books on group creativity, innovation and knowledge. Retired academics, they live in a retirement community in Arizona, but any resemblance between book characters and their neighbors is coincidental. The resemblance between their cat, Frodo and the cat in the book is entirely deliberate!
