OverviewA Devil in The Drone is a fast paced novel with spy implications. Henry Chang is a brilliant Chinese American scientist. He develops a method of intercepting in-flight drone aircraft. The implications are clear; anyone with his knowledge can take control of any in-flight drone anywhere in the world. Dr Chang is missing from his California home and the CIA believes he is kidnapped. Deputy Director, Sandra Wysinski assembles her team and sends them on a worldwide search. John LeMaster is paired with Joyce Chin, aka The Viper. They travel to Korea via Tokyo where they enlist the assistance of Japanese and Korean Yakuza mobs. Ernesto Chavez is sent to Venezuela via Spain under his cover as a beer salesman and The Viper makes a solo visit to Pakistan. When LeMaster objects to being paired with the Viper he is advised by Sandra Wysinski that, You will be working with an intelligent, resourceful woman but in Asia men will not negotiate with a woman. They will assume that Viper is either your secretary or mistress. Both are acceptable roles in Asia. She speaks Japanese, Korean and five dialects of Chinese and her name is Joyce Chin, not Viper. Their adventures are exciting and lead to a surprising conclusion on the tropical island of Jamaica.
