Author Information

"Julie Kirsten began writing poetry at the age of 11. At 19, she was awarded a small publishing contract and published her first edition of a collection of poems. After serving briefly in the U.S. Air Force, she graduated with an English degree from Southern Oregon University. Julie founded Plumb Creative in 2009, starting with branding & web design, eventually becoming an independent publishing firm. Her goal is to help people get their stories told, driven by the words of Walt Whitman: ""That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse."""
