Overview

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. 900 South is an island platformed light rail station in Salt Lake City serviced by all three lines of the Trax system. The station was opened on September 19, 2005, and is operated by the Utah Transit Authority. 900 South is notable for being the first infill station constructed along an existing line of the Trax system. A station at 900 South was proposed as part of the original Sandy/Salt Lake Line completed in 1999. Although no station was yet in place, by 2000 local developers began to develop high-density housing and retail uses in the vicinity of where the 900 South station was once proposed.
