(1996). Elisabeth Sussman was a curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston and the Biennale of Sydney. James H Rubin is a teacher of art history at the State University of New York and the Cooper Union in New York City and author of Courbet (1997), Impressionism (1999) and Manet s Silence and the Poetics of Bouquets (1994). Francesco Bonami is currently Manilow Senior Curator at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, and has recently been a member of the Advisory Board of the 2004 Carnegie International and a Curator of the 1993 Venice Biennale.
