"Dr. Fred A. Stutman has done extensive research in the fields of exercise physiology, diet, and nutrition at the US Naval Air Development Center and in his private medical practive. As a medical officer in the US Air Force, Dr. Stutman started one of the nation's first walking programs for cardiac rehabilitation patients. He is the author of twelve books and numerous medical articles on diet, nutrition, and exercise. Following the publication of his book The Doctor's Walking Book, he became known as ""Dr. Walk."" His books have been featured in national and international publications, including recent feature cover articles in Woman's World magazine and First for Women. He has appeared on national radio and TV, including the Today show and Good Morning America. Dr. Stutman currently practices family medicine as part of the Temple University Health System in Philadelphia."
