He previously worked in management and marketing for Intermountain Healthcare and as a speechwriter and jokewriter for business and political leaders. He's a former bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Richard has written for the Harvard Business Review, The Hill, Southwest Art, the Ensign, and other publications, and his previous book, Lengthen Your Smile, was a bestseller in the 1990s.
