Overview

In 2131, scientists discover a large metallic asteroid that will collide with the Earth seven years later, killing all sentient life. Despite their advanced technology, they don't have enough time to move the monstrous asteroid. Desperate to save the Earth, a group of scientists led by Dr. Leonardo Hoffman uses top-secret technology to send one young time traveler to 1981 to discover the asteroid in its previous orbit. Bruce Hayden's mission, posing as a university student in America in 1981, aims to engage the scientific community, advance technology, and divert the asteroid. Will the past save us?

B.E. Smith has been captivated by science, physics, and astronomy since he was a child. His parents provided endless books, teaching lessons, and even a telescope to foster this fascination. B.E. Smith attended Western University in Ontario, Canada, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics. Following university, he answered a calling and began a career as a first responder. After years of experiencing traumatic events, he began using creative writing as an outlet to cope with trauma.
