علم الأنوار علم ذوقي ولائي تكلم فيه سادة أهل الحضرة وألفوا فيه الدواوين وتغنوا بحبه وعشقه، وجاد الوقت بي لأدلو بدلوي معهم، فأسفر اللثام عن فيض لطائف دُرّة اسمها المحجة البيضاء... فربنا عز وجل نور، ونبينا عليه الصلاة والسلام نور، وإسلامنا الحنيف نور وقرآننا الكريم نور، وصلاتنا نور، فلماذا تريد أن تعيش في الظلمة؟The Science of Lights (ʿilm al-anwār) is a taste-based (dhawqī) and saintly (wilāʾī) knowledge, about which the masters of the Divine Presence (ahl al-ḥaḍra) have spoken. They authored collections (dawāwīn) regarding it and sang of its love and passion. The moment was generous to me, allowing me to lower my bucket alongside theirs, and so I unveiled the mask from the overflowing subtleties (laṭāʾif) of a pearl named The White Path (al-maḥajja al-bayḍāʾ)... For our Lord, Mighty and Majestic is He, is Light (nūr); our Prophet, upon him be blessings and peace, is Light (nūr); our upright Islam is Light (nūr); our Noble Qur'ān is Light (nūr); and our prayer is Light (nūr). So why do you wish to live in darkness?
