Author Information

Bruce Mitchell, the senior engineering executive for his company, oversees all capital projects associated with strategic business growth, production capacity maximization, plant expansions, engineering and environmental initiatives in the United States and Asia. In this capacity he has implemented multi-million dollar projects establishing global facilities and manufacturing equipment installations. In 2004 he was assigned project manager for his company's Asian manufacturing expansion. His responsibilities included all aspects of the project - identifying and selection the location, company formation, equipment sourcing, building and infrastructure design and construction. Within two years the manufacturing facility was completed and operational. During this time Mr. Mitchell logged approximately 30 trips (over 400,000 flight miles) to mainland China plus Hong Kong and Taiwan and traveled to over 23 different Chinese cities meeting with over 50 equipment manufacturers, 18 desi
