Author Information

Kristin Gies has been the Executive Director of the Mequon Nature Preserve since 2007; living her dream by giving back to the community she grew up in and with a career that she is passionate about. Peter Tonn has been a graphic designer for a wide variety of corporate clients for over 40 years, and is enthusiastic to help strengthen the MNP brand with a system of educational materials, environmental signage, publications and event graphics. Hannah's bold colorful style utilizes pattern and texture to pop off the page and into the reader's imagination. Happiest when it's snowing, she lives in Wisconsin with her husband, son and cat. Always inspired by her parents to draw her own lines versus coloring within them, Hannah creates a bright take on our natural world in her illustrative debut.
