Overview

Hundreds of no-cost and low-cost ways to save money at work, at home, in the yard, on the road, and in your whole lifestyle. Each chapter begins with several pages of one-sentence energy tips from a wide range of experts, followed by more detailed one-paragraph suggestions. Finally, there's a Future Tech! section at the end of each chapter, with ideas for future tech and applications. No technical experience is needed. Everything is explained in clear, layman's terms. Most energy-saving ideas also include the science, with many examples so you understand how and why things work. When you know the science you can remember many energy tips with little effort! WH Clark is a licensed Professional Engineer (inactive status) and author of the McGraw-Hill classics, Retrofitting for Energy Conservation, and Electrical Design Guide for Commercial Buildings. He's an alumnus of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 100% disabled veteran. Book Reviews FIVE STARS (out of 5) Reader's Favorite WH Clark's 1001 Energy Tips is a useful book if we all want to fight global warming. I have been reading umpteen such books and had never found such common sense, easy to set up ideas and methods to fight this danger. The guide is comprehensive and deals with topics such as our lifestyle, water, each room of our homes, and general principles. It also includes an extremely useful toolbox, a diverse bibliography to dig deeper, and a glossary. WH Clark's 1001 Energy Tips is a fabulous non-fiction work. It is fascinating, clear, easy to follow, and engaging. Thank you for an amazing guide!
