Overview

Covering newspaper and magazine features, web sites and blogs, music and movie reviews, novels, graphic novels, and more, the father-daughter team of Lizzie and Tim Harper shows that it's possible for anyone who writes well to get published. Topics include: benefits of publishing - better grades and college application bonus points; how to find subjects to write about, and how to research an idea; which form to write in; and so much more. Weaving practical information with personal anecdotes from the authors, writing samples, and tips from the pros, this comprehensive guide for teenagers-and their parents and teachers - has all the tools and advice young writers need to break into the writing world.
