Wind and Waves: An Eagle's Journey Through Grief and Loss

Overview

Two young sea eagles face the loss of their parents and journey through grief together. With the wind and waves as guiding symbols, they learn to carry love and wisdom forward-offering young readers comfort, hope, and healing. Wind and Waves tells the story of two sea eagles, Brother Eagle and Sister Eagle, who experience the death of their parents and embark on a journey through grief and loss. Brother Eagle struggles to accept that their mother and father will never return. Fortunately, Sister Eagle helps him process their loss by reminding him of the wisdom their parents imparted. Throughout the book, the wind and waves symbolically represent their parents, offering guidance and presence. In time, Brother Eagle finds peace, overcomes his grief, and gains the resilience to continue his journey. Wind and Waves serves as a therapeutic guide, helping readers process their own experiences of loss alongside the eagles' story. In Wind and Waves, two young sea eagles face the loss of their parents and journey through grief together. With the wind and waves as guiding symbols, they learn to carry love and wisdom forward-offering young readers comfort, hope, and healing.
